I love my job!

Meet gorgeous family on a beautiful (but HOT!) day – awesome.  Watch kids run, play, giggle – awesome.  Photograph a beautiful couple, so in love – awesome.  You see where I am going with this?   I LOVE what I do!  Loved this family too!  xoxo

Watch out Sports Illustrated

This little miss belongs to my cousin.  Are those little legs full of chunky goodness or what?!   I LOVE this girl!  xoxo

A quilt for college

My grandmother made the quilt that you see in some of these photos.  She gave it to me as I left for college (almost 20 years ago!)   and I don’t think I appreciated all the work she put into it then, but I sure do now.  It is made from scraps of fabric that probably go back to the 1960s – you see, people like my grandmother who grew up during the Great Depression don’t throw away anything – and I am sure glad she didn’t, as I love all the “character” in this quilt!   Little did I know that when she handed me this quilt 20 years ago that it would be one of the most priceless treasures I own.   I actually called her yesterday to tell her how much I really love it and how much I love her.   xoxo

Nothing She Can’t Do

This little girl is going to grow up knowing there is NOTHING she can’t do.  She is the daughter of a very strong, courageous, and passionate mom!
This year, mom rode with 800+ riders to the Vietnam Memorial, as part of the Run for the Wall.   She has an amazing story and I hope she writes a book one of these days.
I loved how present she was with her daughter as they played and played and laughed and hugged.  I saw their hearts – they are very beautiful.  xoxo

Ready, Set, BLOG!!

Can’t believe I  haven’t had a blog post since MAY!   Well, you’re about to see a lot of posts in the next few weeks!  This family was so fun – the boys kept me running – isn’t that how it’s supposed be with little boys?  Could this couple be any more gorgeous?  Loved them!  xoxo
